The
age-old need of humans for celebration overlaps into the neighbouring

football club, and strategies and tactics are analysed with
computers and videos; political and financial elements of
contemporary sport often dominate and everywhere in the world
sporty celebrations become a demonstration of political size
and power.
One exception to this megalomania is the horse, man’s oldest partner, today consecrated as the leisure sport par excellence, and therefore spared.
